The one-way system begins with multiple Tier-One Internet backbone providers connected to our Digital Operations Center (DOC).

Content from the Internet is routed as IP traffic to our DOC. The IP traffic is encapsulated into a Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) transport stream to uplink to the satellite.

The DVB transport stream is then transmitted to a PanAmSat satellite from the teleport.

The DVB transport stream is received at your location. The required equipment at your location includes a satellite antenna, a receiver/transmitter and a DVB receiver.

IP traffic is then routed to your customers on your network via dial-up, LAN or wireless connections.

Your outgoing Internet traffic is then routed via your terrestrial Internet connection.
